BOOKS

Honor Bound

This book was a collaboration with retired Marine Lt. Colonel Amy McGrath. McGrath was the first female fighter pilot to fly combat missions in Afghanistan, and ultimately ran a campaign against incumbent Senator Mitch McConnel. Working on the book required careful handling of combat veteran psychology, military tactics and policies, and national security issues.

Cover of the book Going Wilde, by Jessica Wilde

Going Wilde

Influencers have the power of a platform, and that was certainly true of tattoo model and Instagram influencer Jessica Wilde. But Wilde also had a powerful life story to tell, one that included teen homelessness, sexual abuse, and a search for self beyond a digital avatar. The project required diplomacy and establishing a deep bond a trust. That allowed Wilde to open up and reveal details about her life that were painful, sometimes embarrassing, but ultimately illuminating and essential to creating an honest, authentic memoir.

Cover of the book Exile on Front Street, by George Christie

Exile on Front Street

Chris collaborated on this memoir with the longest tenured Hells Angel president in history. Christie lived a colorful, Zelig-style life and the challenge was trimming down his many stories into one, cohesive narrative arc. The project required in-depth research using the PACER legal database and several newspaper archives. The legal review, itself, required more four hours.

Better Than New

A life story told through the old houses that an HGTV host restored was a strong hook. In tandem with the client’s enviable social media platform, it helped propel this collaboration with Nicole Curtis to bestseller status.
